Rare. Reported from Shelter Island. Only a single individual was observed, hiding in boulders near coral areas. Occurrence in Hong Kong is possibly due to escape from aquaculture farms, or intentional release for religious rituals (Ref. 128523). Sold in live fish markets (Ref. 125552). Also Ref. 27253. |
